VW Autosleeper Clubman Anniversary .

This is a very clean example with the respected 2.5 vw engine. The upholstery has always had covers on and is in v good condition. Just had mot and cambelt and pump changed at miles un July this year. Just had the fridge repaired and serviced along with a habitation certificate. Bodywork is generally good but has had a scratch repaired and colour matched at the rear. There is an 80 watt solar panel and 110a leasure battery and most of the large wattage bulbs changed to economical led. We have had the home for 4 years and selling because we want something with 4 berths to accomodate grandchildren. VW T3 Autosleeper Automatic.

Regretfully time has come to part with my camper:(Due to health and age-related problems we have not used the camper as a camper for a couple of years now. Fitted with Electric Power Steering 4 years ago. What a difference, At the same time, also fitted with aftermarket Electric Windows Passed the last couple if years M.O.T. with no problems, just advisory on oil leak. I believe this is gearbox as I never have to top up Engine from service to service.It is showing a few rust bubbles and signs of age around rear arches and has a few bumps and bruises but nothing at all serious. The only known problems I am aware of are temperature gauge is not reading correctly. When the ignition is switched on (no engine running) gauge winds up to halfway on reading. It then uses the top half of scale as normal. And sometimes the red water warning light comes on, I generally ignore this and press on. Early this year, traveling to Suffolk, the roof lining (carpet type material)came unstuck from the high top and completely blanked the rearview mirror. So I had to cut it off. It has large onboard water and waste tanks. VW T4 Trooper Autosleeper diesel, genuine miles. Taxed and is mot d till August. No advisories on last 2 mots since we have owned it. We are very reluctantly selling our beloved 'Kermit' due to a change in family circumstances. We have owned kermit since August when we bought from Todd's motor homes in Preston. We immediately replaced the timing belt and water pump (although upon replacing we were told it had previously been replaced). It comes with lots of service history. We have never had one bit of trouble with it at all and have been to Cornwall and back twice and it did nt miss a beat. The fuel economy is amazing at roughly 40 mpg. The bodywork is excellent for the year. It has a cobra alarm fitted. The inside is original and also excellent condition for age. Has rock and roll bed with a further sleeping area in the roof suitable for 2 children. Hob and grill, fridge, blow air heating, 2 on board water tanks (one waste and one fresh water) 2 tables in excellent condition. Also included is an extention board to extend length of upper roof bed and ladders, electric hookup. A fiamma bike rack is on the rear which is great and we use it for carrying luggage on lengthy trips. As you can see from the photo it has a hard roof that liteally pops up in minutes and not the nylon type. It has withstood some horrendous weather and never moves or let's a drop of water in. Please note this is not a converted van but the much sought after t4 trooper Autosleeper made from manufacture to a very high spec. I can honestly say who ever gets this van is getting an amazing machine and is a very sad sale from our point of view.
