Vango Airbeam Tent Bundle

Right got a bit of a odd bargain here, I bought a Vango sample tent from a camp shop in the North West, It was on display indoors so I have seen it blown up, it's brand new but shows signs of being up on display but again only indoors. It's basically a Vango Rivendale 800XL which retails at 1k but it has the name Rivendale 600XL with what I believe to be only a 10cm in length difference. It does actually include the separate inner bedroom pod to make it a 8 birth like the 800XL along with all the toggles fitted inside the tent which really makes this a 800XL. I've also bought a brand new footprint and carpet that should be adequate for the size, it's from a Vango Edorus 600. These cost me over £100 and are included in the price. Anyway there's some faults/repairs needed; 1) there are a cluster of holes in the groundsheet which can be easily repaired, I even have the tape to do it. It's under the bedroom pods so you wouldn't even see it once the repair is done. The groundsheet is heavy material so a good solid repair is achievable. 2) a zipper on one of the bedroom pods has pulled out of the track and just need putting back. 3) the flap/skirt on the front awning part right side is ripped, around a foot in length, again not a big repair and it not even needed due to being on the awning section and it is only the skirt so not even part of the tent wall. It's fully bagged, with pump, inner pods. I think you might just need some steel pegs which are cheap enough. All in there's over £ worth of kit if bought from a shop. Obviously there's no warranty included but spares and repairs are cheap enough if needed. It's collection or I'm willing to drive to you depending on distance, I only have a small garden so if you wanted to see it up we would need some bigger space. We have only used the tent twice on its own,then a third time with the awning attached. It also comes with ground sheet, footprint and carpet for the tent. We have owned this tent for a year and have now decided we need something slightly bigger for our family. However this tent is very spacious. It has the added bonus of the extra canopy which you can add onto the front of the tent. It comes with foot print and carpets for both the main tent and the added canopy too. So the whole bottom of the tent is under some sort of layer meaning no soggy grass under your feet. Being an airbeam it takes approximately 20 minutes from knocking in the first pegs to pulling out the final guy ropes and it's even quicker to take down. The pump supplied both inflates and deflates the air tubes as needed. There's plenty of storage pockets inside and 2 lots of storm straps which make the tent extra sturdy in windy weather. These tents can with stand the strongest of storms. There is no worry of tubes or poles breaking as the airbeam system is manufactured to work in the strongest of storms. No rips or tears, no leaks, immaculate canvas. Because it is so quick to put up we would be more than happy to show you the tent in all its glory if you wish to view. We used this tent at the weekend in Derbyshire and I have just finished giving it a good air out and hoover ready for its next outing. All in all an amazing tent. We are only selling as we need more space, especially as we are going away for a week in the summer and will be taking more equipment. However our next tent will definitely be another airbeam. Very easy to erect, just peg the ground sheet, pump up the four Airbeams with the pump provided (approx 20 pumps per beam) and peg the guys. Tent is strong and stable. We pitched the tent when we got home with it last weekend and gave it a good air out and hoover ready for its next outing, so you will find it in good clean condition and was packed away dry. Being an 'Airbeam' it takes approximately 20 minutes from knocking in the first pegs to pulling out the final guy ropes and it's even quicker to take down. The pump supplied both inflates and deflates the air tubes as needed, and gives a pressure reading so that you do not over inflate the tubes. It is really easy to setup. There's plenty of storage pockets inside and 2 lots of storm straps which make the tent extra sturdy in windy weather. No rips or tears, and have checked for leaks whilst we had it erected and can happily say there were no leaks. Because it is so quick to put up we would be more than happy to show you the tent in all its glory if you wish to view, weather permitting. It's a great tent and a shame we got it wrong with the size. We have three children (two of which are teenagers) and need to go for an eight man to give us the space we need. We are currently looking for another larger airbeam. We've found Googling is a great way to find out more about these tents.
