We used it mainly for burning logs for many years, still as good as new. 19 inches wide, 13 inches deep, 9 inches tall rising to inches at front with raised part. Allow for an extra 2 1/2 inches at front width as there are solid feet at the front which extend outside the edge of the grate. This is good as it allows for more width away from the fireplace wall.
