Music Man Sub1 Guitar (USA Musicman Petrucci Morse DiMarzio)

For sale, my black USA Music Man Sub1. The Sub1 is a poplar bodied guitar with a textured black finish and a hard tail bridge. The guitar has been tastefully upgraded with Graph Tech saddles and a Graph Tech nut, and is fitted with Schaller M6-IND locking machine heads with pearl buttons. With a revised control layout on a black mirror pick guard, the layout for the pickups is Steve Morse Y2D inspired, with DiMarzio John Petrucci pickups in the neck and bridge, and a hum-cancelling single coil in the middle: • DiMarzio D Sonic DP207F – (bridge) • DiMarzio Area '61 DP416 – (middle) • DiMarzio LiquiFire DP227 – (neck) Switching options feature a DiMarzio EP three-way switch, and a Push/Pull on the tone pot for humbucker coil-tap: • Position 1: D Sonic, coils in series • Position 2: Area ’61 • Position 3: LiquiFire, coils in series All upgrade work was carried out by a local professional luthier. Note: the original neck plate has been swapped out for a chunky blank aluminium plate. This was just a cosmetic change; the original neck plate has been transferred to one of my other Music Man guitars. Home use only; only selling to fund a new project. No case. Up for grabs is my beloved musicman guitar. Very sad to have to let this go as it really is the nicest sounding and playing guitar I have ever played, but moving house and need to raise funds by selling off music gear. Comes equipped with P90 pickups that have a stunning tone, active on board noise cancelling cuircuit, brand new strings! I have used it in many professional situations and have found it perfect for almost every genre, a very versatile instrument. No swaps. Looking for £ given the condition, but will consider offers... Serious offers only though please, no time wasters. This guitar is in incredibly good condition and will be sold as seen with original musicman hard case, a guitar strap, tremolo arm and upgraded graph-tech saddles. (Seriously impressive, haven’t snapped a single string since installing). May even throw in some free jack cables. It has always been cared for and has never been exposed to extreme temperature changes and has been professionally set up recently. Musicman USA SUB 4 String Bass for sale

Up for sale is my Musicman USA SUB 4 String Bass in White. Not to be confused with the newer SUB range currently made in the Far East, the original SUBs were made in the USA alongside the Sting Ray, with the same 2 band EQ and pickups as their more expensive counterparts. I've replaced the original pick guard with a mirror one and have added a Hipshot D tuner allowing instant dropping of the E string to D. Nordstrand MM Musicman Stringray Bass Guitar Pickup Replacement / Upgrade

This pickup is an accurate reproduction of an early pre-Ernie Ball Music Man pickup. It uses the same wire, the same magnets, and has the same DC resistance. As a result, it sounds just like the Pre Ernie Music Man basses that are so widely coveted. This is a custom hand made pickup by Carey Nordstrand who is based in California. Bass Direct in England are the only supplier in the UK and they retail at £100 plus postage. It is practically new and never been gigged. Superb warm and round Pre Ernie Ball sound if it is installed in either a 2eq or 3eq Stingray. Can also be installed in an OLP Stingray copy or similar for a massive upgrade in sound.
