USA Fender Stratocaster & USA Squier Stratocaster electric guitars

Fender Stratocaster made at Corona plant, USA in (comparatively) rare natural finish. Full working condition with no particular damage (there is a slight scuff on the top of the headstock as per picture 4) and plays very nicely - good stratty tones and you'd expect. Only very minor fretwear as is consumerate with the age. I also have the 'matching' (aesthetically at least) natural finish USA made Squier (that isn't a mistake - Squier made guitars in USA for a year between and due to factory reorganisation). This guitar is mostly original although it has had the body changed for a natural 'Squier' made body (but not USA made - believed to be far eastern) and also the pickup covers have been swapped out for black ones. This guitar is not in as good condition as the USA Fender above and shows a few knocks on the body and neck and is missing a pickguard screw. On the plus side it does have a lovely flaming on the grain of the neck - something you don't generally see on the modern Squiers. Both guitars come as pictured, neither have a case or a whammy bar. As is usually the case with a secondhand guitar, the buyer may wish to have the guitar set up although I would say that it is only the Squier that is in need of set up at this stage. This hasn’t had as much play time as it should have and this is evident by that there is still remanence of lacquer on the frets. Also included is The original Fender moulded case which does have marks on it but still in good condition. Includes both keys! Fender Stratocaster made in USA in , great sounding and playing guitar. Three tone Sunburst finish, very nicely grained Alder body, great condition (see pics..!). Nice rosewood fingerboard and a fast easy action, strung with Ernie Ball gauge. Back of the neck fretboard and headstock are good, frets are fine. no marks or indentations or high spots - nice and level. Professionally set up last year. Lindy Fralin Blues Special Pickups, lovely tone, no problems or issues - really nice strat. I don't use the Trem so it is flattened off - easily reset if needed. The Lindy Fralin pickguard came from Twilight Guitars in USA and is a professionally wired unit with premium parts. Good stuff. Dont have the original set up, went to fund the change over, Lindys are way better sounding than stock pickups, which are thin and ice picky. It also has upgraded fender locking tuners. So the guitar really does stay in tune. Home use only. Only selling to fund a new amp. Comes with fender hard case (case is a little worn but does the job) Great guitar that won't disappoint.
