This has been used for a year and is in very good condition with a few scuffs and marks as would be expected. We've sanded and repainted the desk top and extra unit top with matching Ikea white wood stain to replenish the most heavily-used surfaces. We've dismantled the desk into it's main parts to paint it and make space in the house but potential buyers are welcome to come over and inspect everything. We attached small brackets to the add-on unit and screwed it to the desk for stability - these can easily be removed if preferred. Local delivery may be possible, otherwise collection from Gamston. This lovely hand made solid wood Austrian pedestal desk has been in my familie's posession from new. It was first owned by one of my Austrian relatives who bought it probably between , then it was passed on to my father, who kept it in his house in Austria first and then in Germany. Now I brought it to England with me, but unfortunately I can't find an appropriate place for it in my house and hence I am selling it in the hope that someone will appreciate and enjoy having it.
