ART DECO KRALIK LOETZ LILAC GLASS BOWL URANIUM GLOWS WITH UV

LOVELY GLASS BOWL THE MAIN LILAC BODY OF GLASS IS MANGANESE CONTENT GLASS (DUE TO THE LOW GLOW THAT EMITS FROM THIS WHEN UNDER UV BLACK LIGHT) AND BRIGHT GLOWING APPLIED URANIUM DETAIL (UNDER UV BLACK LIGHT) THAT UNDER DAYLIGHT, NATURAL LIGHT CONDITIONS IS A RICH CREAMY YELLOW.IT'S FROM THE ART DECO PERIOD AND HAS BEEN POSITIVELY ATTRIBUTED TO KRALIK,THOUGH LOETZ ALSO MANUFACTURED GLASS IN THESE COLOURS AT THAT TIME. THE GLASS IS IN PERFECT CONDITION, NO CHIPS SCRATCHES ETC BUT THERE ARE THE USUAL SMALL MANUFACTURING IMPERFECTIONS THAT ARE SO COMMON WITH KRALIK GLASS (IRREGULAR THICKNESS OCCASIONALLY IN SOME AREAS OF THE APPLIED URANIUM GLASS DETAIL BUT NOTHING MAJOR) THIS BOWL MEASURES 3 AND HALF INCHES TOP TO BOTTOM AND 8 INCHES ACROSS WIDEST POINT AT TOP RIM.. I COLLECT GLASS BUT HAVE GONE ONTO IRIDESCENT GLASS SO AM JUST MAKING MORE SPACE AS THIS ONE DOESN'T QUITE MATCH MY PRESENT GLASS COLLECTION EVEN THOUGH I LOVE IT STILL.. Black vivarium 100cm wide, 40cm tall, 37cm deep. Suitable for snakes and reptiles of correct size. I used it for a boa constrictor up to the age of 4, and it was previously used for a lizard. Has hole cut into top with wire netting secured over designed for a heat lamp.
