The piano is a straightstrung upright piano and all the strings are vertical. The action is an overdamper. The hammers are underneath a shelf, and there are stiff wires at the front of the action. The piano is in a fairly good condition but may need tuning. The frame number is: , and the total length of the piano including the piano keys measures approximately 134 cm. The wood is Rosewood veneer with a beautiful walnut carcass. Also include in the price is a beautiful used antique piano stool with draws for storage for either piano sheets, books or magazines. The piano stool has attractive ornate handles and feet. The piano stool has a beautifully designed cushion in need of reupholstering and some minor repairs are also needed to the beading's on the paino stool. A very good condition upright overstrung. It's an Elysian piano bought at Lanes Pianos about 10 years ago, the piano is about 20 years old but in excellent condition. The woodwork has some very small defects but the keys, hammers and strings are almost as new. We can recommend a good delivery man and can and a piano tuner too. Free - Old Upright piano and Stool in Weston Super Mare

Free upright Piano and stool, located in Weston Super Mare. Please read this advert all the way through before messaging me. I am giving away an old piano which needs some work but is perfectly playable. It is scuffed, the pedals don't work (no idea why) and it will need retuning after moving. That said, I have been happily playing it for 10 years now and it will probably be fine for a beginner. It also has a proper piano stool which has space for storing music. 130cm high, 145cm wide, 62cm deep. If you think you would like it please be aware transporting a piano is a lot harder than picking up a chest of drawers or wardrobe, it is very heavy and weighs about 200kg. You would ideally need a trailer, or a van with a ramp or tail-lift. It would require quite a few people to lift it into a van without a ramp. I would really love to give this piano to someone as I am moving house and need to get rid of it. Unfortunately, if I cannot get someone to take it in the next couple of weeks, I will have to break it up for firewood, which would be such a shame.
