Ottoman / Blanket Box. Vintage This ottoman/blanket box is an unusual design. It is more than 45 years old and was vintage when I bought it in. It has been in storage and is in need of refurbishment. It needs a new lid which can be measured and cut from strong ply or blockwood. The foam top needs replacing and I can supply a company who cut any quality of foam to size and cover it in stockinette. Then it could either be upholstered onto the lid or kept as a loose cushion and a cushion cover made for it. It is very easy to upholster. Provides loads of storage space. Blanket Box / Chaise / Ottoman - Vintage s This is a vintage chaise ended ottoman blanket box. I bought it in and recovered it. [The original fabric may still be under the blue?]. It has been in storage for some time and needs a new lid. Currently it is hinged but an alternative could be to cut the exact size from blockboard, and drill holes for ventilation; then attach some small blocks of wood to the underside to keep in place over the box.. There are companies who cut good quality foam to size and cover in stockinette. Attach to the lid and cover in new fabric. It is an easy re-upholstery project. It provides great storage and has been used to sleep small children or even larger ones when a stool of the same dimension was used ti extend its length.
