Elegant table-lamp, very probably by Venini, Murano.The lampshade is made of hand-blown Murano white and brown 'striped' glass.This kind of glass is very typical of Venini production from the late s and close to the striped glass made for the serie 'Anemoni'.The base is made of high-quality brass.Very spectacular light effects when switched on.Good vintage conditions, no cracks or dents, very minor wears. We believe this piece to be a one-off, custom made floor lamp. The geometric design is indicative of the time it was made, which is the late 's, early 's. A central square has a vertical arm attached to its of its side.The poles are of different height creating a cluster effect. At the top of each pole or stand rests a solid Murano glass shade with a three dimensional hexagonal shape. The purple stripe effect softens the light that radiates through the otherwise thick clear glass. The central body is made of chrome. The light operates on 220V and has screw light bulb fitting.
