Fender Deluxe Reverb with a twist. This has been modified by Pete Cornish as a one off (with verification/provenance) so that both channels now have their own separate and independent mid controls that allow you, if you wish, to fill out the natural scooped blackface tone of the amp and approach tweedy and fuller bodied tones as required. However the mid controls can also be set to the standard tone of the amp or even more scooped middle dependant on how you like it or the guitar you are using. In all other aspects it is stock. Just in case you are not aware of who Pete Cornish is he is an electronics guru that builds effects, routing and switching systems for the likes of David Gilmour, Brian May, Carlos Santana, Paul McCartney, Pete Townsend, Metallica etc etc..... Immaculate Fender 65 Deluxe Reverb for sale, produced on a limited run in this head version, like the combo its 22Watts, 2 channels with great tube reverb and tremolo, foot switch included and cover. Its a great amp, I use a cab that has vintage 30s and its everything you’d expect of a blackface fender. It’s fully serviceable and as you can see from the photos, condition is as new. I’ve used it in my home only. This amp has a really nice warm clean tone and is an excellent platform for effects pedals. I’ll be sad to part with it but I like to try different equipment and need to sell it to fund my next purchase. If you have a JTM45 I would be interested in swapping*. Vintage 's Fender Deluxe Reverb

Late sixties Fender Deluxe Reverb. Sounds absolutely fantastic. The speaker is not the original – I’ve tried half a dozen different speakers in this amp (Greenback, Celestion Blue, Weber P12N Alnico, Eminence, Jensen C12N) but the old HH speaker in there simply blew the rest away (any test welcome!). It’s also had the normal channel modified to a foot switchable lead channel by amp guru Jesse Hoff (Lazy J amps) and the Tremolo Intensity knob now serves as a Midrange tone control for the lead channel (these minor mods were done non-destructively and could easily be removed by a competent amp tech).
