Unique Shabby Chic Dining Table & Chairs (Including Two Carvers), This is a lovely dining set providing seating for six people comfortably, it has a real country charm and both paint & fabric are from the Laura Ashley range.The paintwork is “Pale Sable” in an eggshell finish, this tones beautifully with the fabric which is Laura Ashley’s “Helligan”.The table was first cleaned and sanded removing the tired varnish finish; it was then given two coats of primer/undercoat before receiving three top cots of Laura Ashley's Pale Sable in an eggshell finish. The table was then given two coats of water based clear varnish for added protection and finished with clear furniture wax.The chairs, two of which are carvers have been treated the same as the table and painted in Laura Ashley's Pale Sable in an eggshell finish, these have also been given two coats of a water based clear varnish and finished with a clear furniture wax. The old fabric has been replaced with the beautiful Helligan fabric by Laura Ashley and finished with a cream braid. Only a year and half old, hardly used, pine top table and 4 chairs. 121 cm x 90cm Chairs are covered in a taupe gingham fabric. Both table legs and chairs painted in country cream, I have a little for touching up a few scrapes that I meant to sort but didn't for one reason or another, I have a small amount of paint and a brush to throw in too. (Free) BUT even with these minor knocks it doesn't distract from it being a lovely set. I am moving to a smaller place and am sorry to see it go.
