Carter is our much loved pony having been with us 3 years. So this is a sad sale. He is 6 yrs old and he has been showing regularly over the summer in M &M and cradle and nursery stakes, first ridden show hunter and show pony for 2 seasons winning and placed in many. He has been hunting for 2 seasons one on lead rein one off. Competed in Hunter trails, and pony racing. He regularly attends pony club and has show jumping working hunter and Flat work lessons, he has competed for his pony club at showjumping. He has been on badminton ride last Sep jumping round confidently. My 7 yr old son rides him at home on hacks and has had few lead rein lessons on him but is not that intrested for me to keep him for the odd ride. This is a versatile little pony and really easy to do good to shoe, clip, catch,load, travel. Would suit a confident little rider. He has hunted on and off the lead but he is quite forward off lead out hunting so would have to be confident little rider in company.

Reg. Sec B Gelding 13.2h 15yo

We have owned Barkway Sandstorm ('Charlie') for the last nine years. He is a registered section B Welsh palomino. He is from excellent Welsh bloodlines including Orielton Aristocrat and Rotherwood State Occasion and has striking looks. My daughter has ridden him as a lead rein, first and second pony since the age of nine but is leaving for university in September. I would like to find someone else to enjoy him as she did, as he loves being in work. I would describe him as a second pony as he can sometimes be spooky or forward hacking although he is quiet when schooling. My daughter is not a competitive rider but in earlier years she did compete with Charlie at small gymkhanas, cross pole jumping classes and walk and trot tests. They have been on several fun rides. Mainly he has been used for hacking on the country lanes and common near our home where he hacks alone or in company and is never nappy. He has also attended indoor pony club rallies. He has a good jump up to 2ft 3 but can be spooky with any fillers or strange jump wings. He goes barefoot and is good with the farrier. He has never been clipped. Fine to load. Up to date with vaccinations, teeth and worming. He has had laminitis but not for the last five years, so management of his grazing will keep him clear of this. He lives out all year round except for a few hours a day spent in a stable in the daytime. Charlie is very sweet to look after. He loves being groomed and always says hello in the morning. Welsh section A show pony for sale through no fault of his own. Sadly his rider has outgrown him and is moving to a bigger pony. Fantastic pony for lead rein with for a less confident rider or 2nd pony for confident rider who can ride. He is a sweet, cheeky, lovable character who loves people and being with them. He lives in or out and is fine with mares or geldings. Sad sale of reg Highland Pony gelding

14.2hh, 11yo highland, grey gelding. McLeod of Sherrifmuir. 'Bunny', is the most wonderful natured gelding and loves being fussed and spent time with. Unfortunately since having my saddle stolen last October, bunny hasn't been ridden in a year, and will be sold from field. Bunny is a brilliant pony to hack out and isn't fazed by anything, however now and then he can do a cheeky buck. Which makes him completely unsuitable for novice riders. He also shows this cheeky side when being schooled, which doesn't bother myself and he is quite frankly a 'wet fart' and just needs a firm rider to ride through it. He is 100% to catch, trim, load and great to hack out alone or in company. Bunny has been to a show and was 2nd in hand large breeds in good company and was 4th in the novice ridden. We have owned him for 2 years and done all pony club activities including 2 camps as had his previous owners. Loves to jump. Successfully jumped at local shows eg Talygarn, Alps at 2 foot, capable of higher but my daughter happy at this height. Has done cross country courses at ponyclub again successfully He is more a second pony and is very friendly and easy to do.
