14.1 Perfect Allrounder, Safe but Forward Going

Arthur is a 9 year old, 14.1hh, bay gelding cob. He has done all activities from showjumping, dressage and cross country to successfully taking a teenager on her first hunt. He is snaffle mouthed for everything, incredibly safe but eager and forward going too – a perfect mix for someone looking to have fun riding. He has been a lovely pony to own, giving 2 beginners masses of confidence and enjoyment so that they are now happily schooling, jumping and hacking. He has been placed in all his dressage competitions and has regularly been out competing in dressage and showjumping. Little tb all rounder safe and sencible

Reduced from £. Pool is a ex racer who retired sound 18months ago since then he has done low level riding club and some hunting he isn't a world beater but safe and tries his hardest for you. Last hunted at our busy boxing day meet last week with a friend who had never sat on him before where he behaves foot perfect and takes you nicely into a fence. Does need more work with his head carriage as he is still very long and abit high at times but safe and sencible. 100% in all traffic and farm machinery. Walk trot canter in a school but is green as we haven't done a lot he was bought to hunt but is now no longer required due to hunter up and running. Loads in a trailer or wagon first or last travels quietly. Good to clip but did use twitch for half head as kept moving. Good to bath shoe catch comes to call Shod in front only but has had backs on in summer when in full work. Doesn't have to be ridden every day. Lives out in summer but in on a night in winter Does need abit more muscle/top line but due to no longer needing him he isn't in full work. Sebastian! Super safe, perfect all rounder to suit a variety of jockeys. 17hh 13 year old irish thoroughbred gelding! Passported and microchipped. Wormed regularly, shod regularly. Great to handle, good to catch, load, travel, pick up feet, ties up patiently, good in a stable. Currently living out with mares and geldings. Doesn't have any stable vices. Seb is 110% under saddle, hacks out alone and in company, is a forward going but safe ride! Will go first or last, yet to spook at anything we've faced him with, has seen large arctic lorries, tractors etc and even horses going past in carts, remaining unphased. Has been ridden by a variety of different jockeys from novice up too experienced. Buck/rear/bolting free. Doesn't get excitable or silly in open spaces, keeps a level head through out! Snaffle mouthed at all times. Seb is big horse with a very big movement and striding! He has 3 established paces and works effortlessly on both reins, has jumped up too 1 metre here, with scope and willingness to go higher. Has jumped coloured and rustic fences unphased. Seb with us has participated in beach rides, fun rides, local sj and has been xc training. Sharer wanted for 2x stunning & safe TB's Dunkeswell

I have 2 ex-racehorses that could do with a jockey through the week now that the nights are drawing in. No chores or yard duties. £ per week contribution wanted depending on how much you do with them. I will be OK with letting you have lessons, hack, maybe hunt & schooling. Both horses are fine to jump. we dont have a school and hacking isnt wonderful, but I have 2 really nice, genuine, kind horses that if you are looking for a bit of confidence when hacking they will give it to you! Both of them are total dopes to ride, nothing nasty in either of them. not sharp or spooky at all, no rearing or bolting, kick along kind of rides (one of them will occasionally put in a happy buck, but its really not worth worrying about, it has never been big enough to worry me and I'm a nervous rider!) 17.3hh and 16.1hh. The 17.3 (Dude) can be a bit of a pleb in the stable, pull faces and flick his tail at you, but he wont hurt you!! He is all noise! (he is also the happy buck horse). Dude is now good to load (after 18 months of hell!), but I would rather be the one to load him for a bit longer as I dont want to take a step back if I can help it. Storm (16.1) is relatively new. He has only been with us a few weeks and didnt come in the best of conditions so we are still building on that. He is ridable, but he needs condition. So far, he has proved to be very willing and not silly or sharp in any way. He has not bucked, reared or done anything like that. He can be a little forward, but my novice partner rides him and he is absolutely fine. Storm loads and travels fine. Due to us being near a big ish road with lorries and Dude being a bit of a pleb on the ground I can't offer them to a total novice (even though they would be fine to ride for a novice). Bonza is a fabulous horse to ride, he is forward going and brilliant fun, Bonza NEVER says no, he is a full of character safe ride who loves his work so much. He is a lovely boy to catch load handle groom etc, he has no vices and is clean limbed and sound. He is not a novice ride as he is a responsive forward going horse, but very easy to ride for a seme competent jockey. Safe in the heaviest traffic through open spaces land woodland or housing estates, Bonza has hunted but not for a couple of seasons as my back is injured so I cant go out all day anymore. Meet Scooby a 14.2hh Cob 13years old, although a cob he does not act like it,, he is forward going and loves to jump! iv done pony club, local shows and a few hunts through the years as i have owed him for 9 years! the only reason for sale is change in my circumstances and can no longer afford him and he is also being wasted with me. 10 year old TB 16'2 TB Gelding

10 year old 16'2 TB Gelding. We have owned Felix for just over a year and have come to the conclusion that he needs a home that has more time for him. He has come a long way since we brought him but needs more work and we just don't have the time. He schools beautifully the way he carries himself is delightful he has three lovely paces and has a lovely fluid movement, I could imagine him doing a very nice dressage test. We have never taken him out competing and apart from popping him over a little jump in our school he hasn't done any jumping since we have owned him so can't really comment on his jumping ability. We are definitely what you would call a happy hacking home so haven’t taken him to shows. He is best when ridden frequently although last weekend we rode for the first time in 3 months and hacked on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday he was excited and it took longer than usual to tack him up and as soon as my husbands bottom was in the saddle he was jogging up the road! He jogged around and was generally very excitable so we only did road work. On the Sunday he was like a totally different horse, stood quietly to be tacked up, easy to mount and was cool as a cucumber so we went out for a good 2 hours and had 3 canters and a gallop. It was very pleasant hack. My husband and I mainly hack together which Felix does prefer but he has hacked alone and if he did it more I am sure he would settle much more quickly. We hack down fairly busy roads and he is fine, he does very occasionally do excited little bucks, not in nasty 'I am going to throw you off way' just I am excited and I want to go. Where he needs the most work still is on the ground he has a nervous disposition and will need a patient owner who has time to gain his trust. He isn’t at all nasty and does have stable manners he just gets nervous. We clipped him this weekend and we do it in stages so it takes 2 days rather than a few hours. He will stand to be groomed for 20 minutes and then gets fidgety, he takes longer than you average horse to tack up, nothing at all nasty he just has trust issues. He loads fine in either a box or trailer but doesn't like travelling alone, we tend to load him last and then out first to try and keep his mood as calm as possible. He can't be left in a field by himself or left on the yard by himself. He is good for the farrier and has never been lame or had any health problems. Up to date with jabs.
