16.2hh Irish daft x cob type Hunter for sale. 6 years old. Has hunted in Ireland and hound exercised with Sinnington Hunt Hounds. Proving to be very mannerly on the field taking it all in his stride. We havent owned Mr Mee aka Blue very long as was sold to me by a dealer who has now blocked me. I have found Blue to be a very kind but very nervous on the ground with people, however he has lovely manners, not bargy or bolshy at all. Just wary, but he gets to know you are not going to hurt him, he is lovely. He has only done very very basic schooling, not in a field but in a school enviroinment as feels worried schooling in a large open field on his own. But happy to ride in open fields without any bother, just schooling. He would make a fantastic Maxi cob with someone who can put the time in to school correctly, he is very athletic for a big horse, bouncy and good hock action. Unfortuneately he is not for me as i wanted a get on and go type. You can get legged up or from ground, needs patience at a block to get on. Time and patience is what this boy needs. He hacks out happily on his own or company and is very good in traffic. Been hacked out on own with my 12yrs Daughter atm. Good with farrier, groom, traffic, havent clipped him so wouldnt know and takes a minute to load in trailer or wagon. Dixie, approx 14.2 gelding aged 14. Ex riding school lad who I bought to hack out on but he is just wasted as I am struggling with my pelvis. He hacks alone but prefers company as will call but then just gets on with it. He enjoys exploring and you don't really need the reigns when he knows the route. We sent him off for 4 weeks to be professionally schooled and he came back doing walk trot and canter. In the time we have had him he has come on a lot, in the school he is still green but will work in a outline and likes to be kept busy as due to his age does get bored, He does trot poles but have not jumped him, has had a horse bronk around the arena and he never flinched.out hacking he is bombproof and has took nervous ponies out, has seen bikes,trucks,motorbikes and tractors and does not flinch, will go out alone or in company and is fine.he is perfect to catch and turnout and with the farrier(barefoot),dentist(no sedation), getting clipped and bathed and to brush and tack up(snaffle mouthed). Splash, blue blagdon 7 year old mare for sale. A really sweet natured, bottom of the pecking order girl that just wants to please. Would suit a confident novice as she does have a few quirks (she can be quite nappy, she will squeal and throw a small buck if she doesn't want to work), due to her age she does look to her rider for confidence and she will try things on if she thinks she can get 1 up on you.
