Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop Custom w OHSC, COA

Greetings, Previously owned by an important band's guitar player (have to respect their wish and keep it a low profile), this is one hell of an instrument. First, because of its history, second because it features Real ebony and not last because it's a Custom Shop creation. The top on this guitar is a true admiration for me. It seems like plain top but under certain light angle it assumes that tight and deep flame. Killer! The neck is straight, there's minimal fret wear. All the electronics and finish are original. No breaks, no repairs, no modifications. Original hard shell case in used but good condition included! Detailed description of the item below: Headstock: Clean, one ding on the front corner and one ding on the back. Neck: Solid, no breaks, no repairs, no alterations. The Real ebony board is clean and there are no cracks, the frets show virtually no wear and the neck is straight. Typical Rounded Neck profile just as any Les Paul Custom from the era. Body: Clean overall, light surface scratches on the back plus a few insignificant and finish-only dings, various surface dings around the input jack area but nothing through the finish. The top is mostly clean with light dings here and there but hard to notice as they match the color and they are not through the finish.

Import Les Paul Style Guitar Wiring Harness Upgrade with Orange Drop Capacitors Ideal upgrade for many imported Les Paul style guitars such as Epiphone, JHS Vintage etc. 50’s Gibson Style Wiring Description To get as close to true 50's Les Paul tone as possible, you’ll want to do the curiously named “50's Wiring” on your pickups. This wiring is also commonly referred to as “Vintage Wiring” – Gibson used to wire Les Pauls this way in the 50's but eventually stopped and changed to what we consider “standard” wiring today. However, the ’59 Les Paul made appearances on so many legendary recordings that this wiring is still a desired and sought after tweak to your modern day Les Pauls (or any dual-humbucker equipped guitar). This harness contains 4 x 500k CTS Logarithmic Medium Shaft Pots 2 x.022 Orange Drop capacitors Pre wired with high quality cloth covered wire. Fitted to hardboard base for transport only. 500k CTS Logarithmic Medium Shaft Potentiometers As supplied in many high end quality guitars offering a smoother feel than the pots supplied on most import guitars. They have a 9.5mm diameter thread shaft which will require most Epiphone or import guitar fixing holes to be enlarged slightly to accommodate. A GREAT Les Paul from when the only difference between a Studio and a Standard was binding! Nice comfortable neck, no chambering, and a real authority to the sound that only comes from a proper guitar. Good overall condition, but obviously some dings as it has been gigged, but NO breaks or anything terminal! So go on, treat yourself. You KNOW you want to!

Lovely Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul left handed guitar. Very resonant guitar only weighs 8lbs, this is very light for a Les Paul, it's not weight relieved or chambered just good quality resonant wood. The body is one piece. No cracks or breaks One ding on the headstock, one on the base of the body. Usual signs of wear on guitar and case but overall very nice and clean. Pickups are period accurate brushed steel aged Monty PAFs installed by the guy who makes them...check out the website, it's where Mark Knofler gets his from. bright sounding like a tele on steroids like a humbucker is meant to sound. 50s neck rounded and very comfortable, not huge.
