Rising 11yrs, liver chestnut, registered section C gelding. Jasper has been a great all round pony for us. He is great to handle and easy to ride. He is a forward going pony who goes with his head up so not for a tiny tot. He has done all pony club activities but jumping wise he is no world beater, up to cm is his max really. Treacle is for sale through no fault of her own, just sadly outgrown. Low ridden and jumping mileage due to being a broodmare for many years. Brought back into work when she came to us in February . Treacle is my daughter's first pony (after 6 months of riding lessons). She has not only taught my daughter to be an excellent rider but also that ponies are not machines. She is also bokem to drive but has not been driven with us. They won the M&M in-hand and ODE Intro Dressage trophies last year at Homestead riding club. This year they have concentrated on show jumping, travelling to many local shows and competing in finals for ESUK Grassroots at Arena UK, and Sunshine Tours at Hickstead.. Jumps up to 75cm out competing, but has jumped higher at home. Has done all riding club activities including showcross and working hunter. Up to date with teeth, back, jabs and worming. Barefoot – doesn't need shoes, has very good strong feet. Never sick. Will hack out alone or in company, although prefer company (human or equine). 100% in traffice, notphased by any vehicles. Travels most weekends with us to local shows, the beach etc. Travelled to Hickstead and back with no problems (240 miles each way). Happy to LWVTB, but this would have to be at current yard, LS25, due to strict Strangles policy. He has lovely friendly stable manners, great to turn out and catch, can be left for a week or so unridden and doesn’t get hot headed or giddy, he is fine to clip and good with the farrier, We’ve taken Chico to Somerford park which he loved. Welsh section A 23 years old. Dependable pony who has done everything. Great with children. Can be stubborn, he is getting on a bit!!! still has plenty of energy and in good health!!! 11hh welsh section A pony club lead rein pony

Our beloved pony Barney is sadly up for sale after 7 great years. All my children have ridden him from being toddlers and he has been their first pony so this is such a sad sale. He enjoys being worked and will whinny when he sees you bringing tack so it's unfair on him to be left without a job. I am advertising him as a lead rein pony as this is what he prefers in a schooling situation as he can be nappy without his leader in the arena and he much prefers having mum or dad to walk beside or even run in front. He will hack out perfectly off the lead and goes off your voice. He has been ridden around hopton x country off the lead and on the farnley ride and Escrick park. He will jump small jumps and has got a good jump but it's not something he enjoys. He is just ridden now and then at the moment but he is exactly the same ride how ever long he is left. Barney has been involved with all pony club activities including mounted games, mini camp, mini cross country, lessons and jumping with my daughter from being age 5. He has competed on the mini mounted games for 2 seasons on the lead and did wetherby weekend this year off the lead in the junior team and did great. Totally unfazed with a busy environment and does not get silly or excitable, he's very happy to stand on the line and just wait his turn and knows the equipment. When at shows he just stands patiently and nods off. He will ride and lead and is responsive to voice commands which is great for teaching little ones to canter on the lead. A shout of whoa quickly brings him back to walk! We've stayed away at shows and he is happy to be corralled in an pen and will not stress if left on his own, he just enjoys being out and having a job to do. He can be a bit grumpy to handle and will pull the odd face. He will live out with a shelter or come in at night and he is happy with both. He is very clean in the stable and will poo in a bucket at the back! He can be left for weeks and then ridden and he is exactly the same, just steady away.
