Such a heart breaking decision but my beautiful Irish Thoroughbred is up for sale. I currently can now no longer ride as I am waiting for a back operation and will be unable to walk for months, so this is the best choice for my boy. Xander has come such a long way coming from a bad previous home. He has been ridden by a novice but I want him to go too a home with experience. He needs a lot more schooling and hacking out (walk trot) to build his muscle up as he was very under nourished. He is currently coming back into work being lunged and ridden slowly after having a rest. He is a very lazy ride but slight squeeze and he will listen, so no leg kickers!! I am only wanting him to go too a 10* home as he is a very loved boy, so experienced people only please. Irish TB gelding 16.1hh in Plymouth

Due to a change in circumstances Ive had to make the heartbreaking decision to sell my beautiful horse Tonto (Hurst Park). Tonto is 16.1hh Irish TB, 14 years old. He's up to date with worming and teeth. He has raced in the past as a national hunt horse so would be eligible for ROR. He is a very laid back chap who's very big hearted and easy to do. Ridden In a snaffle and sensible in open spaces. He is ridden regularly on the moor by a 14 year old girl. He will go in company first or last and also hack alone. He prefers a confident rider as although safe can be a bit spooky alone but never does anything silly! Tonto has hunted and is safe but excitable! He will go through rivers and jump ditches. He loves children and is very good with traffic and large farm machinery. He is polite to lead. Tonto has very good feet and never throws shoes, he is good for the farrier and to clip. He will load but can be hesitant, but always goes in. He prefers to travel in a lorry. I'm not in any hurry to sell this lovely horse and will not just sell to anyone! He is a very special boy who deserves a long term loving home. He would make a lovely ladies hunter/ hack. Please feel free to ask any questions. No loans or time wasters please. Sweet gentle 15.2 TB gelding

Mr. P really deserves a human best friend to love and care for him. This lad has just turned 15 and has the sweetest nature, he adores fuss and just wants to be close to people. Mr. P is looking for somebody who wants a companion horse and to be hacked out a couple of times a week, he would be a fantastic confidence giver and has proved to be bomb proof when out hacking alone or in company. I have inherited this boy and unfortunately do not have the knowledge to bring him on to reach his potential. STUNNING THOROUGHBRED / IRISH SPORTS HORSE FOR SALE

Sam is a 14 year old Thoroughbred/ Irish Draught who is registered as 15.3 but is easily 16hh. Sam is being sold through no fault of is own but due to my lack of time due to college. Sam is rode in a snaffle bit at all times and genuinely enjoys schooling work, having 3 beautiful paces and always aiming to please. Sam has competed in local shows and is and always comes out in the ribbons as he is a real mover with confidence and power. Sam loves to jump and has jumped a meter with me but has the potential for so much higher. At times while jumping sam can get forward and rarely adds in a tiny buck however this is only due to excitement as it is his favourite activity but comes back easily to a firm hand. Carrying a whip is enough for sam as he genuinely aims to please and responds so much more to a gentle but firm hand when needed-he hates getting wrong! He is very forgiving when riding and loves to be praised. Sam loves to hack out along woodland tracks but may need some encouragement occasionally while going through water which is his one hate. Sam is not a novice ride as in new places at first he can be quite nervy and need a a confident rider to push him forward and has his quirks now and again but the good far far outweighs the bad always. He is really rewarding and trusting, once there is a bond he becomes much bolder and always always aims to please,listening to both leg and voice commands and always trying his best. Sam enjoys living out in the summer and comes in during the winter months. He is easy to catch, shoe, groom, tack up etc- his manners are excellent apart from the odd head rub out off affection. This is always really really reluctant sale however I feel sam could really improve and go far with someone else and don't want such a special boy to go to waste. Snaffle Mouthed 16h Light Bay TB Gelding (13 yrs.). Mac is the easiest, quietest and sweetest little horse on the yard who jumps for fun, foot perfect over the biggest of fences and equally works nicely on the flat. He hacks out alone or in company, will ride and lead and leads a lead rein pony and little rider on the road, down tracks and across fields and is impeccably behaved. Mac is good to load (lorry/trailer), travel, shoe, clip, bath and will stand on the yard untied and not move until told. Mac is naturally forward going so requires a competent and confident jockey who will give him encouragement when he’s a little unsure with things he’s not seen or done before. He is regularly ridden by a 14-year-old PC girl who he works nicely for in the school on the flat, over fences, grid work, clear round SJ and has taken him schooling over XC fences at UK chasers. She even called upon him at last minute to stand in for his stable mate at Pony Camp which he embraced. Mac enjoys lessons and working in and around other horses in the school maintaining focus. He is part of a mixed herd when out but does enjoy his own company and is always the first to want to come in. This versatile little horse is looking for and thoroughly deserves a loving, fun home having retired from racing after a successful P2P season. He’d be quite content happy hacking and doing a bit of this and a bit of that to keep his brain ticking over, would suit a competent RC/PC rider and will excel in all disciplines for someone who is prepared to put in the time and effort continuing his retraining.
