Two young female cats (1yr old in april)

Our two young cats deserve a home where they are loved for the cantankerous and loving little souls that they are. I am a huge cat lover, and I cannot watch my 6yr old terrorise these two lovely little cats any more. I had hoped that they would have brought out her gentle, caring side, but unfortunately not. So, Vesper (tabby tortie and a mouser) and Toots (white with ginger spots) are not sisters but grew up together in the same kitten rescue, so I don't want to split them up. They are totally house trained, chipped, wormed, vaccinated and flea treated. They both are lap cats once the Terror has gone to bed, and are very loving and trusting, but still have the kitten madness in them. They come with everything, to settle them in their new home. ie. Cat bowls, cat food, climbing frame/scratching post, and litter trays (which they now barely use, and is kept outside). If I could remove the cat flap i'd also include it, but it's a tunnel through the wall. If you are seriously looking for a couple of nice house cats you couldnt find two better natured kitties. Two lovely young female cats looking for a quiet home

This is a difficult message to write, but I think we need to find a new home for our two female cats, each approx 6 years old. They are both lovely, affectionate cats - both are small, one is black and one is tortoiseshell. We'd like to find them a home together. Both cats are quite shy and timid. They love people but prefer quieter environments and are the type of cats that like to approach you and sit on your knee, rather than have you approach them. They are shy at first, but once they settle in, really friendly and affectionate. Since we have had our son, and now we have another baby on the way, I just don't think the cats are as happy with us as they could be. They spend most of their time outside as they don't like the loud noises from the toddler, but I think they miss the affection that a quiet home of cat lovers could offer them. So I think if we could find someone who could provide that, it would be better for them. So we're looking for someone with a quiet, calm, cat-loving home who would be patient and welcoming to our cats. I don't think a home with other cats, dogs or children would be any better than our current set up. We are determined that if we do let them go, they go to a lovely household, so we would be a bit fussy, but I know they would make lovely, affectionate pets for someone who could give them a happy home.
