Exceptionally beautiful polychrome coloured wooden sculpture depicting an angel with her hands folded devoutly and eyes closed in kneeling position. Very finely depicted, with beautiful details such as her dressflowing in the wind. Supposedly made in France around . The condition is good considering the age with naturally some age traces and crackle, that only give the sculpture more character. The wings of the angel were for the most part lost in the past.
