The beautiful solid oak modern TV stand works for almost any sized TV screen. Currently it is beneath a 55" LED screen and, because of the unit's big, solid design, it looks absolutly perfect. The back of the unit is solid wood - not flimsy hardboard or thin plywood. Cables are inserted through a hole to the feed equipment that sits on the two glass shelves. The two glass shelves sit on small metal support lugs either side and, as they are inobtrusive, it looks more lke the glass shelves are floating. The glass shelves are also removeable.
