One-to-One iPad Tuition. in Nottingham
One-to-one iPad tuition. Do you want to learn how to use an iPad device? I run a range of sessions covering different learning abilities; from complete beginner, to the more advanced user. Sessions can be tailored to the learner's particular requirements, covering specific questions or queries, or can be quite structured showing you a particular usage of the device. Sessions are £20 an hour, with the following sessions typically taking an hour; - Introduction to iPads. Covering; the very basics from turning the device on to the apps pre-supplied on the device and general navigation. - Introduction to Email. Covering; setting up an email account such as Gmail, sending and receiving an email, organising your email, recovering deleted items and managing spam. - Introduction to Social Media.* Covering; Facebook or Twitter; setting up and managing an account. - Apps and iTunes.* Covering; setting up an iTunes account, how you would use your account to download both free and paid for apps to your device. We would then briefly cover any apps that many be of specific interest to yourself. *These sessions require the learner to have already setup an email account, and to have their email login details to hand. All of these sessions come with brief step-by-step quick reference guides for you to keep and use after our session. In addition to these sessions, there are 30 minute 'bolt-ons' that I can include, such as; Podcasts, Maps, Photo editing and many more. Sessions can be grouped together, but the maximum advised learning time is 3 hours at any one time. I have experience of working with a range of learners through teaching technical programs at universities and classes through the local council. These sessions can be at your home for your convenience, or at a local coffee shop during the quieter times of the week. My general availability is all day or eve Saturday - Wednesday. All learners will be required to provide their own device. If you have any questions, please get in touch. Many Thanks, Claire
