This piece has been finished using only the best techniques and materials meaning that it both gives a nicely aged appearance today and will also continue to age beautifully. The outside of the box has been treated with a Old Ochre chalk paint and a clear wax finish. Dimensions (approx.) External Height = 55cm x Width = 85cm x Depth = 55cm Internal Height = 38cm x Width = 75cm x Depth = 44cm This box provides very useful storage, and would be perfect for a bedroom or living room. The seat is made of a high-grade firm foam cushioning, covered with a layer of soft calico fabric and brightly-coloured vintage coffee sack to the outer layer. The seat has been upholstered in a traditional fashion using tacks - not staples! Please note though that the sack cloth does have a few imperfections (small snags/holes, etc.) being an old used coffee sack. This item has been hand made from start to finish in our rural Wiltshire workshops. If you would like this item in a different size, please ask - this can be replicated to any dimensions you require and a very similar material can be sourced for the seat. Please note - our products are either used items, or redesigned from used items. Therefore the item cannot be said to be in an 'as new' condition.
