A mixed trio of Belgian D'Uccles. Very pretty birds with a black mottled hen, a millefleur hen and a black mottled cockerel that carries some millefleur hence the red hackles. A trio of Belgian d'uccle bantams. I do not show myself but these are bred from rung stock and are of good type and nice and small as required by the breed standard. The cockerel does have a little red in his neck hackles. The hens are bred from a black hen so may remain mainly black although mottles only really show there true colour in their second year. Pair of Barbu D'Anver Bantams BS10 chickens rare breed

I have a fabulous little pair of Barbu D'Anver bantams for sale. One cockerel and one hen. They were born with cross-beak, a genetic disorder which means they can't be bred from. Being disabled, they need a little more care than usual hens to make sure they're not getting bullied and are getting enough food. They always look a bit scruffy, as they have to work much harder when pecking to successfully pick up their food. However, they have excellent temperaments, being hand reared they are both really tame and friendly. As soon as we let our bantams out each morning (we have 8 in total), they are the first to come over to us and say hello. These would make a great pair for children, they are very happy to sit on a lap and be stroked and are not much bigger than a quail! Please no time wasters, or people who haven't spent time with pets before. These are a great little pair full of character that I am looking for the right home for!
