Here for sale is my Trek Remedy 8, in a size 19.5", i purchased this bike in march last year, which i had to wait ages for. It has helped me progress as a mountain biker, and it gave me confidence to ride. I believe this is partly due to the reaktiv tuned rear fox shock. The bike has had no upgrades, except for a brand new set of specialized butcher grid tyres whch are 27.5 x 2.3 and a conversion to tubeless. it has had new cables in the dropper post and a new lever fitted, as the old one wasnt ideal. the headset is also brand new this week. It came standard with a 1x11 sram gx groupset and kz dropper post. The forks are Rockshox Pike 140mm which are without a doubt the nicest fork ive ever ridden; and as mentioned above the rear shock which is fox float reaktiv 140mm. The brakes are shimano deore, and have recently also had new pads. The Bike had a service last week, where all the parts got degreased and are now all shiny again, and are working smoothly. A new gear cable was also fitted. Hi for sale is my Trek Remedy 7. The bike has a few custom parts like a Hope seat quick release, a maxxis rear wheel, and Renthal bars which do make the bike look the part! There are a few age related marks marks and scuffs over the bike as to be expected of a bike of its age but no dents or cracks. With the gears 1,2,3 you have to push the lever a little further to get it into gear but doesn't effect the ride at all (I have been told this is just a screw that needs adjusting which may be done if i can find the time). This is a very eye catching bike and rides smooth with both brakes working correctly. There are 27 gears in total. Now for the spec:) The front forks are Rock Shox compression with adjustable 160mm travel. The rear suspension is a Fox Float. The frame is an Alpha Red Aluminium, 19.5 inches in size. Both rims are Bontfager Rythms and both tyres have good tread. The brakes are XT Deore chrome hydraulic brakes.
