Traynor YGM-3 valve guitar amplifier

Valve amplifier made in Canada in the 70's. This is a Canadian version of Fender Vibrolux. 20W. Power valves - 2x EL84, preamp - 4xECC83. The amp has tremolo effect. Very origial sound. Original Alnico speaker, Hammond transformers. The electrolytic capacitors in the preamp were replaced. The grill was also replaced as the original had a tear - that is included in the sale.

Traynor Guitar Mate YGM-3 - fender Deluxe Reverb Vox AC15 Marshall

This is the legendary Traynor YGM-3 Guitar Mate amp, with built in reverb and tremolo. Built in Canada from till the mid-70's, this 25 watt combo amp features hand wired, point-to-point circuitry and all tube construction. There are no printed circuit boards or surface mounted hardware anywhere in this amp. In addition to it's state of the art construction techniques, Traynors were known for superb tone, somewhere between a vintage Fender Deluxe Reverb and the famed Marshall Plexi.
