Fantastic Parlour guitar with built in pickup, great for Blues and slide, hand made in the UK, everyone is unique, comes in original packing crate, they cost £399, we have this one up for a bargain £249. PX welcome, no swaps. Tonk Bros Parlour Guitar inspired by the Pre War guitars built by guitar factories in the USA for some of the country's poorer guitarists. In many cases these instruments were badly finished to reduce costs, including brush marks in the finish, and typically used Birch to reduce costs. These original instruments are now highly sought after. Each guitar is hand built and hand finished, every instrument is unique to its owner. All are crafted by Tonk Bros in their purpose made workshop in Suffolk, UK. Each Guitar is made from premium Birch ply in keeping with many earlier guitars from the Pre War period. The Birch selected all comes from PEFC and FSC sustainable timber. This has been chosen for sound and sustainability. Original Blues Boxy sound - a true Delta Blues parlour. Each guitar has an authentic fatter or clubbier feeling neck as found on many original Pre War guitars, and is fitted with an integral Carbon Fibre rod to keep the neck straight and true.
