Travel and Tourism Trainee / Apprenticeship in Buckhurst
Our Company Details: We are small well established Travel Agents that started in , and have now been trading here from our offices for 28 years specialising in Family Holidays Worldwide, to which we are now one of the largest independent Travel Agents in the UK. We are looking for a Full Time Travel Trainee, dependant on age will be doing a CUSTOMER SERVICE apprenticeship scheme, (level 2 or 3 dependant on current qualifications). We are looking for staff that are willing to work well, adjust to pressure and work in a busy enviroment. Job Purpose: Travel Trainee will start with duties such as admin for booking processes, checking confirmations for reservations, sending out holiday bookings and tickets, checking sales statements etc, general admin and office duties etc, and then going on to online orders, arranging and selling holiday bookings and packages etc. Duties: Travel training of the full travel spectrum including, travel booking process, including checking booking confirmations, sending out holiday information/bookings and tickets etc, answering customer queries and emails, checking sales statements, taking balances and sending out balance reminders, and general admin and office duties etc, and arranging selling holidays and flights etc. Obtaining refunds and adjustments by completing claim forms. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Skills/Qualifications: The ideal candidate must be computer-literate, i.e. internet use, e-mails, Word and Excel. The Candidate must have general English and maths skills and knowledge, be able to spell correctly, good verbal and written communication, and must be able to work as a team.
