Unfortunately we are having to sell our Trailer tent due to moving house and nowhere to store it anymore as it is in our garage. We bought this at the beginning of the year and only been out in it one this summer. It's a great little Trailer tent as it can be erected in seconds, there is also a matching awning which has hardly been used. There is a repair patch on the tent but it's watertight. All lights work, spare wheel, curtains etc, comes with a double stove with grill, nearly full gas bottle, folding table, folding table and chairs, everything you'd need to get started. I have for sale my brown combicamp 2 berth trailer tent. Beat the rush of the spring prices and grab a bargain now. The joy of combicamps is they can be opened in 30 seconds, they unfold similar to a pram hood. It dates from the late 70's/early 80's I believe. It comes with an orange mattress, the inner tent and an orange front box, which currently isn't fitted. It also comes with a spare wheel, levelling ramp and a wheel clamp, these are very hard to find for the combi camp wheel size. It is in good condition for its age, althought it does have some mouldy patches on one side and the front, and there's a small hole by the door, but I have reflected the damage in the price. It doesn't have an awning, but I used a pop up awning with it as I found the main awning too much to handle. I can also include some camping bits and bobs I no longer need. ***NOW SOLD*** For Sale is my lovely Combi Camp 404 Trailer Tent 4 Berth, 2 Bedrooms plus Awning. This is the family version which hinges from the side and is very spacious, everything is off the ground in the main unit and the awning doubles the overall space. I can put the whole thing up on my own but is better with 2 people, my daughter helps me in holding the awning poles whilst I pull the canvas over the top. Has 2 separate spacious bedrooms in the main unit each with a double bed. All mattresses are included and are in good condition. Also converts to 2 x 2 seater sofas, in the photographs you can see one of the bedrooms is shown as the daytime configuration with the end of the bed converted to a 2 seater sofa. You have a choice of either 2 bedrooms, 2 x 2 seater sofas or a combination as shown. The inner floor area is also carpeted. A full set of curtains are included both inside the main unit and awning (about 10 curtains in total). This is a very light unit to tow (250Kg) and yet is simply cavernous when erected. The canvas is waterproof and in good condition, some repairs have been done but is completely waterproof. The awning has had very little use. All the poles are present for the awning and can be erected to demonstrate this. A bargain at this price, must go this week, priced to sell. Lights all work so can be driven away. Spare tyre included. The hinge has been maintained with a regular treatment with grease to keep it in good condition. There is also a winter cover in good condition which is waterproof. As you would expect in a trailer tent of this age it is not perfect but should give many more years of service. Hi this is a Combicamp sport 2 berth Trailer tent in excellent condition. I have owned it for four years and have used it mainly to go to car shows for a weekend. It is light and tows perfectly behind the smallest of vehicles. The tyres are good and the lights work on the trailer. The tent canvas is in perfect condition without tears and was waterproof when I slept in it. Because of the design the double bed is off the ground and so is the floor of the tent. The roof rack on the trailer lifts the floor off the ground so it is always dry inside. See the you tube videos on how to erect it. It takes less than 2 minutes. It comes smoke and pet free. An almost ready to go Jamet Louisiane trailer tent

We bought this TT as an experiment after camping for the past 31 years in a succession of larger and costlier tents. We’re not sure if a TT isn’t too much for just the two of us, so we’re selling this one while we think about it. I’ll be honest about condition of the TT. We paid £280 six weeks ago as the canvas has mould stains. We’ve cleaned and washed what we can – particularly everything in the bed unit and steamed the mattresses and made sure the mould is dead. Condition of the waterproofing wasn’t mentioned, but I put two heavy coats of Fabsil Gold on the bed unit (roof and walls) then one good, heavy, coat on the living area canopy. Wish I’d gone for that second coat on the living ‘roof’ as it dripped. The bed area stayed dry and snug and the living area walls didn’t let any water through – that was after 82 hours continual heavy rain and gales up to 60 mph (gusted 80mph) in St Teeth, Cornwall. Didn’t think the TT would survive, but it did without any damage. We just threw a big blue tarp over the living area to keep rain out (glad we bought tie-down straps before setting out) and had a comfortable two weeks camping. Kitchen unit is in VG condition, one leg-hinge had been replaced with a length of aluminium, so it’s a case of undoing a screw to fold/unfold legs. Just noticed the mud wall by the front door has a 6” split where the peg held whilst the winds blew, it’s an easy repair. Everything seems to be there, including both pup tents for under the beds, didn’t use them but they look okay. Poles seem to all be there but we had problem following previous owners colour coding (not as simple as he said) so we may have improvised a bit. I had printed off a copy of manual and pole layout so shouldn’t be a problem in future, just wish I hadn’t left them on my desk when we packed - DOH! Trailer is in very good condition, tows fine but no spare wheel, has one good tyre while the other could do with changing. Electrics work, rear lights mismatched but the other new one is in the storage box so just fix it on – we weren’t bothered. We’re asking £230 as we paid £280 then £80 on Fabsil. Another coat of Fabsil should do the trick – but it might take two or three. I’m going to suggest the TT should make an easy project for a family holiday and will happily answer any questions I can with honesty, but due to price I can’t offer any guarantee. Read More
