Purchased from Halfords last year. Used only once when cycling around Rutland water with our littlest one. Boxed with all components present and correct. The retail adverts say: The Trail Gator lets your child experience riding a bike with an adult in safety. Once assembled, no tools are required to fit or remove and you have full steering and speed control. Children love being in tow with an adult and can choose to either pedal or coast along. Trail gator bike connector. Only used once excellent condition. All parts present and working Comes with instructions. I have added someone's YouTube clip so you can see how they work As you can see from the 2 photos off the Internet it connects the adult bike to the child's bike, lifting the child's drone wheel. When you have finished you can remove from the childs bike & leave connected on the adult bike & it clips securely stowed in place. This is an excellent piece of equipment. I bought it off someone who only used it once & unfortunately I never got round to fitting it to my bike so now as my kids can ride on their own I thought I would sell it.
