One end clamps onto the adult bike seat post and the other end has a bracket on the kids bike steerer. When connected the bar lifts the kids bike front wheel off the ground and an arm locks the kids bike steering straight ahead. When not in use the towing arm folds down and one end is attached to the rear axle of the adult bike. This is in good condition with all parts and full instructions.
