The trailgator was easy to fit to the seat post of the adult bike and to the child's bike being towed behind - full original instructions come too - and provided us with a lot of fun since it allowed us to cycle together as a family when our son was a bit little to cycle for long distances by himself, or when he wasn't big enough to go on roads alone. One end clamps onto the adult bike seat post and the other end has a bracket on the kids bike steerer. When connected the bar lifts the kids bike front wheel off the ground and an arm locks the kids bike steering straight ahead.
