FOR SALE SUNNY(Springfield Boy) 15’1 IRISH COB £ ovno Perfect mother and daughter share. Sunny is the best confidence giving horse that you can buy. We have owned Sunny for just over 18months. This hardworking, pleasing boy has brought my 15 year old daughter on so much. Sunny can confidently jump 3ft. He had won Dengie winter league with his previous owners. He is hacked out 3 times a week and my daughter has brought him on to be excellent in open spaces. Sunny is a power house and will happily canter in open spaces and stop with perfect brakes. Nothing phases him when jumping, hacking or in the school. He is an excellent little horse that looks after his rider. Sunny would ideally suit a young teenager, coming off ponies to a small horse, or a Mother daughter share.. He is great little horse and will tackle any xc course, jump, hack or fun ride. Previously Sunny had been used in a riding school, and will bring on any unconfident rider. Sunny competes in local show for jumping and Dressage and always gives his best Irish green passport, age 13 years old. Teeth, jabs, worming all up to date. Sunny is shod on his front and he is left barefoot on his hinds. Sunny suffered a small fracture last year on his front right splint bone. Fully healed, but his rear left hind can be stiff when he was being shod. Having his rear hooves barefoot means he is no longer stiff. Sunny loads first time, every time. He happily travels on his own or with other horses. Sunny is stabled and turned out in the night. Previously he lived out all winter and is very happy in either environment. Stunning heavy traditional gypsy cob for sale.

Meet Diesel, we took in Diesel a few months ago now, unlike the others he came from a very lovely home and came being a tough little cookie to crack with the ridden work. He's come on leaps and bounds in the past few months but due to my work commitments, A-levels and balancing exercising other horses, competing and my yearling I feel Diesel is being wasted. He's always first over to the gate to catch! (sometime he tries to move his head if he doesn't want to come in, other times he helps you put it on!), he leads perfectly and doesn't plant his feet or rear etc. He ties up lovely and loves a good brush! He has a lovely long mane and tons of feather! So far I've found him to be a dream to tack up with no issues what so ever. He lunges perfectly with beautiful flowing paces although he can get distracted as we have fields surrounding the menage with horses in them so we can't blame him! He gets a bit nervous of when it comes to being mounted which I believe it purely down to the lack of him being ridden, he will fidget a bit so you will have to line him up a few times before he settles (with regular work it wouldn't be an issue as when he was in consistent work with me he was perfect! But I have no one to hold him for me while I get on, apart from the once which he was perfect when someone held him) When mounting you need to be slow with him as if you just throw yourself on him he freaks out and will bolt, so he needs someone who will spend time mounting him slowly and reassuring him. Once you're on he's perfect! He might nap a bit at first but once you push him through it he works lovely in all 3 paces in the school. If he's feeling lazy he will throw in one or two bucks but I've never had any rearing with him. He has seen poles and walked over them with a rider on, I've not hacked him out as of yet, but he did hack out in his previous home and his previous owner said he was quite strong especially in open spaces so I would imagine he would need a strong experienced rider to hack him out, he's fine around all machinery such as tractors, cars,bikes etc. I had him in work consistently a few months ago and with consistent work he never had any mounting issues, nor bucking. He worked like a dream. But now I have no time he's been out of work for the last 2 months. He's the type who needs regular work as he's very green, I'm not going to lie about Diesel as he's not the easiest pony but he's worth his weight in gold when you put the time into him. He's 100% with the farrier and has been complimented so many times about how stunning he looks, he's shown in hand successfully and would either make someone a lovely riding cob if they put a bit more time into him to finish him off or a lovely in hand showing horse/companion. He is up for sale at a cost to provide he goes to a 5* forever home. I will be bringing him back into work tomorrow for the next few weeks so viewings are welcome and any questions I'm happy to answer. Absolutely no novices what so ever as he needs someone experienced who has ridden difficult/nervous horses previously or knows what they're doing. Homes will be viewed before he goes anywhere and I'd like to get to know who he'd be going to. Forever home wanted, he won't go to just anyone as he is still young and learning.
