15hh Traditional Cob Mare in Chepstow

Full up 15hh bay mare, 13 years old. She is as wide as she is tall and is a definite weight carrier. Ruby was brought back into work in the summer after having a foal but I have not had the time to continue and she is being wasted in the field. She's all clipped and ready to go to someone who either has winter facilities or time to spend to put some miles on the clock with her. I am selling her from the field as I have no trial facilities. I have videos of her riding which I am happy to send. She looks at things out hacking but never rears, bucks or bolts, she is forward going and just needs some encouragement to go past new things. She is 100% to handle on the ground, easy to catch, good to travel, farrier (currently barefoot), will happily stand and be groomed all day. No ailments and a really genuine sort. Traditional Piebald cob Mare 14hh, 7 years old Skye Is fantastic on the ground and is easy to catch (she comes to call), she is good with the farrier and will stand for hours to be groomed. She has lots of feather and a lovely mane coming, she would look stunning in a show ring! She was backed towards the end of last year and turned away, due to my disability she has not done as much as I had hoped this year. My 8 year old niece has ridden her on lead, and I had a professional rider come to ride her for me a couple of months ago, he said she was a plod so would be great for someone who wants to just take things slow and hack out. I feel in the right hands she could go a lot further, she is green and needs a little time spent on her, she is willing but I just can't give her what she needs. Rose has had some nice foals and has now been broken to ride. She is quite happy to just bumble along however can have a little canter when needed but she likes the slow life. She is ridden in a rubber snaffle is good to load, traffic and foot trim. Nothing outdoors bothers her but she can be lazy and I wouldn't say suitable for a complete novice due to her lazy ways. This is Polly, she is microchipped, passported, up to date with teeth and feet. Not vaccinated, very laid back gentle mare. Doesnt act mareish at all. I had her rebacked and i had regular lessons on her until the end of october...i had lost my confidence but really wanted to ride again, but the idea of riding was better than actually riding. Since October Polly has been ridden...by experienced riders who say she is very honest, she is lacking in confidence so needs you to hold her hand so to speak, she is forward going but never nasty, she has brakes and is ridden in a snaffle. She has never spoooked with me, she just snorts! if she is out in company of other horses she is totally relaxed. On her own she looks around for monsters but doesnt do anything. She can be hard to catch but with time she gets better, i think she has been ill treated as if you have a lead rope you'll never catch her...i just take a headcollar and food! other times she'll just stand and let you catch her no bother. Jet is a lovely little Cob mare who is a quick learner. She has given everything a go whilst with us. She will happily work in the school or field and will pop a jump. Hacks out in company and is getting better alone. We have made the decision to sell Jet as we just can't give her the time she deserves as we have other ponies. She is good to clip, load, travel with farrier, dentist and Vet. She had her feet trimmed and teeth done last week and is up to date with worming. I gave her a bath today () for the first time in months and she was a star.... so easy to have around.
