Rare Gibson Les Paul Custom Florentine Plus Year trade R8/R9

Absolutely stunning Gibson Les Paul Florentine plus (also known as a bantam elite plus) from the year . The original retail price confirmed by Gibson was $. (Emails included in photo's) Plays like a dream on a beautiful ebony board with very little fret ware. Sounds incredible thanks to a solid maple cap (not laminated like a 335) the sound is like a les paul custom but really wants to sing and sustain thanks to the semi hollow design. Fitted with the factory original 57 classic pickups. Comes in the Gibson hardcase that does have some wear. The condition of the guitar is very good, there are a couple of marks but none through the lacquer and are to be expected on an instrument of this age. Gibson were pretty sporadic in issuing COA's in the late 90's so this didn't have one however I do have emails for Gibson Europe confirming spec and authenticity so buy in confidence. Any trial welcome, I am based in Doncaster. Any other questions give me a call or text on . I would prefer cash on collection and I do travel around so a meet is possible. I may consider a trade deal for other high end guitars such a Gibson custom shop/R7,R8,R9's and PRS. Gentlemen, set your faces to 'Stunned'. Here we have a magnificent Gibson Les Paul Standard from . It's more than a quarter of a century old, with all the classic Gibson brilliance that you expect from that era. Comes in Heritage Cherry Sunburst and it's big, brilliant and, importantly, unchambered. It's got THAT look and THAT sound. Has a few marks here and there, as you'd expect. However, it's clearly lived a privileged life of luxury, with only a couple of minor dings here and there. The most significant is pictured: A tiny indentation on the back of the neck that you absolutely do not feel while playing (look at it compared to my skinny finger to see how small it is). Had a recent pro setup, including complete fret levelling and crowning. Case is rock solid and has that old-style thick shroud that is more like a blanket. The combination lock doesn't work, but if that surprises you then you've never seen a Gibson case before! Also the restraining strap could use glueing or stapling if you actually care about that. I don't, so I've never bothered. Basically, you don't get a Les Paul Standard near this good if you buy new. Collection from Southampton. I play mainly semi-acoustic these days so I'm selling this guitar to fund another project. It's a Standard with a flame maple top and cherry mahogany solid body (no chambers). Serial number is . It's in lovely condition and very playable with a 60s style tapered neck. The only sign of any wear is on the bridge but that does not detract from the appearance. It is 12 years old and has been played extensively with good care. It comes with a Gibson hard case (combination lock never used)and is all original with no customisation. The scratchplate is included but has never been fitted as I thought it looked better without. I'm reluctant to sell this guitar but I can't really justify keeping it any longer. It should go where it will be used and appreciated. I'll consider all sensible offers but I'm selling for cash on collection only. I'm not interested in trades.
