FOR SALE Bay Mare 122cm Top Class Lead Rein Pony Age 6 Years

Sadly for sale due to new baby and lack of interest, top class lead rein show pony, this pony has only been lightly shown by me due to lack of time and interest from my children, I now have a new baby on the way and she is completely going to waste. With her previous owners she was shown to a high standard and in her 1st season in was 4th at Royal Windsor Show and also qualified for the RIHS. Totally home produced she is easy to do in every way and has safely carried both my 7year old (now out grown) and my 5 year old into busy showing rings for the last 2 years with no calmers, ear plugs and hardly any working in. This year we did two shows with her where she won and was placed 3rd. She will happily hack out on the roads and will pop a jump and my 5 year old can bring her in from the field and picks her feet out. Beautiful, flashy palomino, gelding 12hh, registered section A called Steephill Carruthers. Although only 5 years old, we have had 2 very successful showing seasons with him both in hand & ridden on the lead rein. He has won numerous classes and championships including Aberystwyth and Ceredigion County and Brecon County. Carl always holds his own even against the professionals. We do a range of classes from M & M, section A, palomino, coloured to straight lead rein. We have also had some fun with him winning show jumping and gymkhana. He is a brilliant athletic jumper, so would easily win working hunters too. We have never hunted or hacked him, simply because it doesn't interest us. I am not selling him as a FYFR, because of his age & the need for few more miles on the clock in my opinion, but he does go nicely off the LR & hops into canter on the correct leg, so would suit a competent child off the lead rein, who enjoys competing and winning. Sandy is Sadly for sale through my daughters lack of interest. Sandy is an 11.2 Welsh section A, 10 year old gelding. He has taken my daughter from being very nervous on the LR to happily cantering/jumping off LR, but she has sadly now lost interest and he is being wasted in the field. Sandy is very much a kick along pony. On the LR he is perfect and will happily pop over grids and fences when asked. He has never bucked, bitten or kicked and He would never take off.
