An original production cel from from Disney StudiosThis production cel originates from the film Robin Hood, from the scene of the song "Not in Nottingham" (also see screenshot, not included)The size of the cel is 40 cm x 40 cm.This original cel, used in the film, originates from the Disney Art Project from the s, when cels from animated films of the ‘70s/’80s were offered for sale. The cels were laminated by the Disney Company at the time, in an effort to protect the fragile cels and their paint. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a bad idea, as the lamination has caused the cels to crease over time. This is the case for most cels from this project, as it is with this one.Nevertheless, it is an original, used in the film. Cels from Robin Hood are rare, and because cels are no longer made nowadays, this is a genuine piece of animation history.See pictures for a proper personal impression of the condition. The left bottom corner is damaged, and the plastic of the lamination is creased in various places.The paint is still of good quality. There are no cracks in the paint, the image is intact.As a result, Alan-a-Dale still looks great. His dialogue was recorded and sung by the famous singer Roger Miller.With original stamp and cel number. Read More
