Timberline T30C - Acoustic Guitar (Nottingham)
Purchase in Dec from GuitarGuitar in Birmingham. Have original receipt. This guitar was purchased a little impulsively due to it's specification and price I was offered. It is an all solid wood construction, with ebony finerboard, rosewood bridge, forward shifted (scalloped) x-bracing and Martin style 00 shape body. In terms of value, this guitar is punching far above its weight. In terms of sound, the guitar has a nice focused and resonant woody sound, with a lovely focus in the midrange. It absolutely lends itself to fingerstyle and light strumming and is nice and easy to play with it's short scale length. It would suit anybody who enjoys the smaller body style and wants to get an all solid wood guitar. The top is sitka spruce, and mahogany back and sides. Has.12 gauge Elixir PB strings. Used in a smoke free studio and is completely acoustic. Timberline are an American company, but there is little information about them on the internet. As such, i'm letting this go for the same price as that i paid for it originally. I'm letting this go due to the fact this body shape is just a little too small for my style of playing, as i typically play Grand Auditorium/Dreadnought shapes, and as mentioned in my other adverts, i am down-scaling my acoustic guitar collection down to just one or two guitars. Please ask for any additional images. Looking for a local/cash sale due to the value and nature of the item. Guitars are personal instruments and would prefer somebody to be able to try it so that they are completely happy. If it doesn't sell this way then I may consider selling online via Paypal and sorting out insured postage, but postage would need to be paid as extra. Not looking for part-exchanges or swaps. Apologies, but as mentioned, i'm wanting to simplify my studio setup. Asking for £325 + Postage if buyer wishes to purchase online/electronically, or £295 for a cash sale, which i feel is a fair price. Read More
