Tibetan Terrier, male, 16 months old,

Archie is a Tibetan Terrier. We are his first owners, so had him since he was a puppy. The reason I am looking to rehome him is because the kids have got lazy with taking him for walk. My partner sometimes has to work away and then the responsibility falls on me and with working full-time, it has become a burden. Harsh. I agree! But's it's the truth. Archie has been used to usually 3 walks a day. He has lots of energy and loves walking. He's very sociable with other dogs and he just wants to run around and play, which sometimes means that you have to go find him and take him home. He seems to love smelly socks and loves pulling them off your feet. He like to play ball, but only inside the house. He loves soft toys because he likes ripping them apart; it's his favourite past time. He does like strokes and cuddles, but only when he is in the mood. He is used to a noisy household with various people visiting over the week. With some of these people, he is so happy to see them, he makes crying sounds. When meeting new people, he may come across as unfriendly, but he's not, he just needs more time to get to know them, once he gets to know them, he becomes their friend. We have become attached to him and genuinely care for him, so we won't be giving him to anybody! He needs to be with a family that has lots of energy. We will not give him to someone that is out early hours and not bk until late evening. Archie has been used to sometimes having my partner working from home; when my daughter is not at college, she's at home with him; I go home at lunchtime and give him a very quick walk sometimes; my son is home around 3ish. Archie has been used to having someone around, so he needs that contact. He has not been done yet, so there is the option there either way. If you are interested, you need to have time to get to know him. You will need to come out a few times with us dog walking him; then you will need to take him out on your own; then take him for a day to your home. The reason we have to do this is because only then when he gets to know you will you be able to see the true Archie, as already mentioned, he can come across as friendly. Unfortunately we are looking for a new loving home for our nearly 15 month old male Yorkshire terrier. He is very small, super friendly with people & dogs. Loves a cuddle, playing fetch and walks. 3 year old Tibetan Spaniel whom is very much loved and cared for. It may seem lame but the reason we need a forever loving home is the time he is now alone in the house 5 days out of 7. Circumstances mean we can't get home any earlier and the traffic is horrendous. He looks so happy when we come in and I just don't like that he is existing with no interaction for up to 9 hours a day. It's unfair. He is used to other dogs from being around my friends pets. I would prefer someone who knows the breed or will research them as they are highly intelligent and intuitive little dogs. He's chipped and has had no health problems at all. Loves being brushed and being outside. He is very loyal and will keep to a master for instructions. You must be 100% sure he isn't going to become a burden and that you are sure of the commitment.

He needs to be in a home where he still gets his love, attention and walks... I am afraid we just won't have the time to give him, due to working away on occasions too... Due to personal circumstances I have to rehome my 8 month old english bull terrier which is a very hard decision for me but has to be done.
