Having to give away my two boys I did get them off a lovely young woman about 4-5 months ago as she didn't have time for them. Unfortunately they only enjoy each others company and are bullying and biting my boys so I can't keep them anymore, they are still very timid the white one (Clyde) is a little more tame than (Basil) the black and white one. They have never bit me but there last owners said that they have bitten so I guess it's a risk if your nervous around them. I doubt these boys will ever be tame I have tried my hardest with them both but now they are turning on my boys and now my boys are very anxious and nervous even when I go to stroke them, if you are interested please let me know. I got 2 female rats from Pets at home recently and was ready to take them on whatever challenge faced me. But the other day during socialising them, they bit my dad and drew blood. The roan dumbo girl (grey) is more curious and even acts friendly when you're not in the cage. The black hooded standard ear girl is terrified. As soon as your hands in the cage they are scared of your hand. This is due to pets at home chasing them around the cage with their hands all their life:(that's the only interaction with humans they've had. Rats hardly ever bite unless they really think we are going to hurt them. I wanted to spend all my time on them but with all my other rats I just don't have the time to tame such terrified rats. Poor things, they need to be understood and slowly shown care and trust. I wish I had the time for that. Please remember they are extremely scared and unhandlable. Young female Rats (FREE TO GOOD HOME!)

Hello I have to young female Rats that are last of the litter sadly they never got a home so I have kept them for a fair while, but I have recently took more hours at work and do not have the time to spend with them, They are very sweet and handleable if you are slow and don't scare them, can be a little skittish but have never bitten, They do not have a cage as they are in a temporary cage for night time and the free roam the room in the day. Rats free to good home.. Two beautiful males - shadow and harry. Very lovely and love attention. Unfortunately with shifts at work, i no longer have time to look after them the way i would like. They are beautiful and always come out to say hi when going past the cage - havnt handled them much but are fine with being stroked ect - dont reckon they will mind being picked up:) The cage can be included with all their bits and bobs for £40. I am unfortunately having to rehome my 2 male rats Remy and Scabbers. I rescued them from a woman trying to release them into the wild. Their date of birth is not correct as I am unsure of their age but this site requires it. They are free to any good home as long as they will be looked after. A home check would take place and the new owner would need to sign a waver stating that if they cannot keep them they would be returned to us and that we should be told if they died. They are tame and very sweet, loved to be handled. The only reason for rehoming is because I am going off to college and won't be home to look after them.
