We are looking to find a new home for my husbands hacking out horse. Sky is a 16hh thoroughbred 17 years and has been with us the last ten years my husband even learned to ride on her. Things have changed for us and we no longer ride out so we feel someone else should benefit from her. Would suit experienced rider.

Don't let age put you off she has had a very easy life so still plenty in the tank to give, no ailments or vices. Breeze is a good all rounder. Done pony club teams sj, dressage and cross country. With some schooling she will excel further in dressage, she loves cross country and jumping but does have her limits. She has never been out of work, and currently in light work due to lack of time. She has too much life left in her and so much more still to give to just retire her, and I would love to see someone enjoy like I have. She is a typical mare so can be spooky so does need a confident rider. A loving permanent home is more important then price, so only serious interest only please. Spike is a gorgeous boy who has 3 lovely floaty paces in the school and although he is still being retrained he will make a brilliant dressage/ror horse. Equally he has a big scopey jump and could also go on to do showjumping. Spike is 100% to hack alone or in company, he has been on both busy roads and bridleways and is always a safe and steady ride. He is a gentleman to handle in and out the stable (he does however weave on occasion) he is good for farrier, dentist, will stand to be bathed, clipped etc no problem, will travel in a trailer or a lorry. He is not your typical thoroughbred and does not hot up or become fizzy or silly when not in work or when kept stabled. Spike really is a sweetheart and loves attention. We are selling our TB gelding he is 15 and the perfect gent, he doesn't act in anyway like a TB he is easy to catch, good for the farrier, loads nicely as we take him for lessons once a week in our trailer. He lives with other ponies and donkeys. He is ideal for a novice as he can be a bit lazy if not pushed on so a more experienced rider might make him more forward going.
