Thorens turntable 160b td MK11

Much needed de-cluttering necessitates recycling this still beautiful minimally designed piece as I no longer play vinyl. Everything including even the original manual is present. As can be seen it’s a mission arm and cartridge. Can send a video of turntable turning. Don’t have amplifier at moment though. All in all, still very good condition with a couple of small cosmetic blips. Firstly as can be seen there are 2 small chips on baseboard,(size compared to hand). I’m sure a small repair won’t be difficult or permanent marker should disguise. Secondly some superficial scratches on lid. However the lid is solid, no cracks perfect hinges etc. Would have been impossible to have used it without getting any marks, unless you never lifted it up or down. Any questions contact Steve. TRT RDS FM HiFi Tuner. This tuner has superb sound quality and brings the best out of good broadcasts. Can connect to a normal FM ariel or cable broadcast networks. The RDS display shows the station name or where it's not available a name can be manually entered and stored in the preset. This works for FM and MW (AM) stations. Bought new in , comes with the original remote control and in the original box with a contemporary review from one of the hifi mags of the time. Original, complete & very good condition. Custom built wood plinth & Perspex cover. Bought from used specialist shop in . Stored since until now. Some TLC restoration required to return to pristine condition (e.g. staining/varnishing). Needs minor servicing (e.g. sticky speed/vari-speed controls, replacement drive belt &rubber mushrooms). But the turntable has been tested and is still completely functional. Fitted with SME Tone arm, with 2 x Shure N105e cartridges (I fitted, 1 spare) Also requires very minor attention to balancing/skating & re-soldering. But again, 100% functional.
