With 25 colour plates in volume 1 and 525(!) black and white illustrations of his work in volume 2. Thomas Chippendale was a cabinet maker in London who designed furniture in the mid Georgian, English Rococo and Neoclassical styles. His designed are regarded as some of the finest and highly valued examples of his time, and are widely reproduced globally. Condition:The books are in excellent condition, pages bright and clean and the binding is tight.
