Sandstone fireplace surround, detail of 5 petal rose inscribed at the top corners.

This is a sandstone fireplace surround we bought as a complete set including a wood burning stove. We were not sure if we wanted to use the stone surround but as it was part of the whole set we bought. Now our renovation is close to completion this won't fit in with the style we want. I do not know any specifics for definite but my assumptions are this style reflects either Yorkshire or Lancashire due to the rose motif on the two columns. Probably more likely Lancashire as i bought it in the Manchester region. Condition wise it has a few minor chips as seen in the photos and some remnants of the mortar on the back that will remove easily enough. All photos show areas that will be visible from the front or the sides. Colour is best described as a light grey. The top beam has a rose motif at each end. Dimensions; Each column sits 95cm in height and are 15cm by 15 cm in the width and depth. The top beam is 128cm wide, 15 cm in height and depth. Top beam sits on top of the two columns. This gives an overall dimension of 128cm wide, 115 cm tall and 15 cm deep when put together. Items are some weight and the person collecting will need to be able to assist with the lifting and loading. Happy for people to view before bidding.
