After Caesar was murdered, he fought against Brutus and Pompeus, with the help of Marcus Antonius and Lepidus. The name of this alliance was the Triumverate. It didn't last. Lepidus wastaken out of office later andMarcus Antonius was beaten after which he committed suicide with Cleopatra.
