MINT copy of Volume 2 of Steve Thornton’s “Flytyers of the world” but this copy is a truly special collectors item as it comes with Herman Broers “Simple Squid” - the actual one made for the book and which features in the photos. The Books were a limited edition of and this one is especially rare with one of the actual patterns created for the book. £40 (Collectors item with real fly from the book). Postage extra at £10 (UK only) or collection from Oakham - on the edge of Rutland Water. The book alone cost £60 new Steve’s idea was to produce a work not only about the flies that these people tie but also about their lifestyles and ambitions. Steve has been meticulous in designing this work, not only from the selection of flytyers who, as Steve states, are ‘the leaders in their field’ but design, layout and paper selection; everything is top shelf.
