There is some light creasing to a few cards but nothing serious and they are fine to play the game Contents are- 1 Game board 4 Dickens pawns 25 Coins (white No 1) 15 Coins (yellow No 5) 30 Luck cards(fortune & idea) (brown backs) 24 Character cards (red backs) 2 Rules in brief cards Instructions are on inside of box lid. The aim is to be the first person to complete a Dickens novel by ‘writing’ (collecting) six episodes. At the beginning of the game, players choose one of four dickens novels to ‘write’, and sits at the appropriate side of the board where their chosen novel is illustrated. To complete an episode, a player must collect a character card from the novel, and then collect a matching card which has a quotation about that character. By returning to their desks (bases) they then receive a royalty payment and have their first episode completed. To complete the novel, each player must write 6 x episodes. Does not affect game play at all and a black ring has been coloured around Godfather base to distinguish from Henchmen figures(see pics). There is 1 spare blue Henchman. Contents are- 1 Gameboard 1 Spinner including 2 Hitmen in cars. 4 Gangs (consisting of 1 Godfather and 8 Henchmen) There is an extra blue Henchman. 3 Black plastic rings to attach and identify Godfathers (1 missing) 2 Standard Dice Instruction sheet. Box has a few light scuffs but is generally in very good condition. Grey plastic insert is fine. Move your "Godfather" safely through town. Vintage BATTLEBOARD strategy attack game by Ideal games produced in . Game contents come complete and in good used condition for age. Box has major wear and neat clear taping to all lid corners. Generally presentable though for its many years. Contents- 1 Hard plastic playing board 2 Playing board uprights 1 Card castle wall (has light creasing and wear to edges but fits no problem in uprights and is fine to play the game). 8 Knights (4 red & 4 yellow) 2 Kings (red & yellow) 2 Air catapult bellows (red one has a piece of plastic missing but this does not affect usage at all) Instructions are on the inside of lid. The strategy attack game with air-raising action! Description- Each player has four knight pieces and one king piece. At the beginning of the game they are placed in the row furthest from the dividing wall. Players take turns moving one of their pieces one space (orthogonally). They then get to use their air catapult to try to pop out one of their opponent's pieces. This is done by placing their plunger in one of the vacant spaces on their side of the board and then banging it. If their opponent has a piece in that corresponding space, it will pop up into the air. Pieces captured in this way remain out of the game until that player moves his king up to the dividing wall, at which point he can claim a captured knight piece back (but also tips off his opponent that his king is in the front row). The first player to move two pieces into the front row (next to the dividing wall) wins the game. Great old collectable game for 2 players ages 7 to adult. Game time around 30 minutes.
