The corners are a bit rounded, but only minimally (see photo ´ s).The endpapers front and rear are beautiful. The book in large format, released in June , drawn and written by Calvo. Beautiful book with allegorical representation of the 2nd world war with great color illustrations of CalvoComments on content: the famous anthropomorphic allegory on the second world war, during the occupation designed and carried out by Dancette in freedom, "printed in June in confidence, that the beast is dead now". Similar to Orwell's Animal Farm, but then as a comic strip.The enemy soldiers are in this comic strip portrayed as wolves. When this book in foreign, and also Dutch editions would appear, there were difficulties around the noses of the wolves, because the wolves with their noses resemble with the big bad Wolf, copyright Walt Disney. Of each wolf had to be airbrushed out the nose and bijgetekend!It now offered completely unread copy is in new condition. The book is 70 years ago immediately after purchase, unread, in a dark closet. It is therefore stock is (mint), an exceptionally beautiful album in new condition, front and back cover and back beautiful, book block unopened mint condition, all paper by edges.
