Bronze Stag Statue, As per title a Beautiful Bronze Stag Statue, the statue was previously painted white and still shows slight bits of lingering paint here and there as shown in pictures. Since having the paint stripped the piece has not seen the outdoors and will probably clean itself once its seen some english weather and the bronze gains some patina! As Bronze Stags go it's a handsome one, not cheap looking and not too muscular as some tend to be. Overall from hoof to tip of antler it stands 6' tall and 4'5" tall from hoof to the top of the head, Overall length from antler to tail is 4'8". This great print is an original from the 60s - 70s and has a soft matt finish (printing technique unknown, does not appear to be printed on paper), it is a mesmerizing picture to feast your eyes on depicting a galleon sailing on the smooth waters of a quiet sea underneath a crescent moon and a starry sky. There is a small mark/slit on the print which i have pointed out but this blends in like one of the stars so not noticeable when hung. The inner frame is textured with a fabric material and needs a clean and the gold paint on the outer frame has worn. Collection only.
