Structurally sound (it floats!), I need to clean, some minor repairs, and internal remodeling. Somewhere between Wallingford and Oxford would be ideal. No way can I afford the average marina/boatyard fees in this part of the world, so hoping there's some kindly soul..... Both rigs can easily be swapped from one to the other. The vessel is in fine condition and is presently afloat in Falmouth. Included in the sale is a 4HP Mariner outboard engine (recently serviced), and a trailer that is also in perfect condition. The GRP hull is in perfect condition, as is her wooden gunnels and thwarts. These boats are ideal for novice sailors and experienced sailors alike. ‘Maisy’ can easily be sailed single-handed or is comfortable carrying five passengers or crew. Description: • LOA 4.83m (15ft 10in) • • LWL 3.96m (13ft 0in) • • Beam 1.78m (5ft 10in) • • Draft (c/plate up) 0.25m (0ft 10in) • • Draft (c/plate down) 1.07m (3ft 6in) • • Weight 272 Kg (600lbs) If you are unfamiliar with Falmouth Bass Boats or Junk Rigs I suggest that you look up on-line: ‘The Falmouth Bass Boat Association’ and ‘Annie Hill with her boat Fantail’. The junk rig may look complicated but it is extremely easy to sail. In strong winds the sail can be reduced or collapsed by merely letting go of one halyard. It then drops much like a venetian blind.
